I will try to post later on this week, but I will have to think of something to say. My life consist of eating, changing diapers, feeding Allie Grace, and a little bit of sleeping!

A little of everything!

My poor baby has been suffering from gas pains. I do not know if any of you have ever held a newborn in pain, but it is the worst thing ever. I felt so helpless! (I am sure I will feel even more helpless later on in life.) Anyways that is all I really have to say about that!

On a Happy note Thank you for the new outfit Mom! I love it! It is wonderful for nursing in public. (Which is very uncomfortable!) Also, Thank you Aunt Monica for the wonderful gift card! Joe and I are going to put it to good use on Friday! It will be a wonderful way to celebrate my 23 birthday.

Ok… So here is some pictures for all of you to see! I decided to take Carolyn’s advice! I cut my hair and now you all can vote for real! LOL… I know some of you where disappointed I asked everyone advice. I knew what I wanted to do, but was trying to talk myself out of it. See a lot of people around me love my hair long while I love it short! Once Allie Grace spit up in my hair and learned to pull I knew what I had to do!

OK! I need your help friends and family. I have a decision to make about my hair.

So should I keep it long or should I go short again?

Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow.... What day is it?

So today was Allie Grace first doctor’s appointment, and she was wonderful! When she was born she weighed 7lbs and 7 oz, but today my little piglet weighted 7lbs and 14 oz. [For those of you who do not know they lose about a pound before they come home from the hospital. So she is packing on the pounds] she also went from 19 ½ inches to 20 1/8 inches! The Doctor was very pleased with how she was doing! It was very reassuring to hear that she was doing so well since I am feeding her the natural way. See when you are bottle feeding a baby you see how much they are eating, but there are no marks on me to tell me how much she is getting! So that is it for the doctor update! We go back in 2 months

We also went to a support group meeting for the natural way of feeding, and it was wonderful! It was nice to listen to experienced mothers talk about their struggles and how rewarding it is now! They were very encouraging!!! So here is my ad for your local La Leche League group! If you have one you should go (If you are expecting or plan to feed your baby the natural way). If you are not sure if your area has a group; then, I will help you find out. It has been wonderful having that support behind me. Joe and I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the leader one day and BOY DID IT HELP!

SUPER DAD is the best name I can think of for Joe! He has been absolutely wonderful with our daughter and helping me to recover. He cooks, cleans, changes most of the diapers, and chauffeurs me around town. (I can not drive for a few more days because of the surgery.) Sometimes when I am up feeding Allie, I just stare at him and thank God for want he means to me. He is more than any wife could ask for! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. OK. OK…. I will stop now
